Product Requirements

The Sales Tax Calculator products all have similar requirements, listed below:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0: This is a free component provided by Microsoft and it is already installed on many computers. If the framework is not already installed on your computer, our installer will automatically install it for you.
  • Microsoft Windows: Our products will run on any version of Microsoft Windows starting with Windows 2000. This includes support for Windows 2003, Windows XP, etc. Currently Windows Vista is not supported, but support for Vista will be coming soon. We do not provide support and do not recommend that our products be installed on any version of Windows below Windows 2000, including Windows 95, and Windows 98.
  • The Microsoft Small Business Accounting Plugin application requires that you have Microsoft Small Business Accounting or Microsoft Office Accounting 2008 installed on your computer. All versions of Microsoft Small Business Accounting are supported.
  • The QuickBooks Plugin application requires that you have Intuit Quickbooks installed on your computer. Intuit Quickbooks version 2004 and higher are supported. We do not support Quickbooks versions lower than 2004. Currently the Quickbooks Professional, Quickbooks Premier, and Quickbooks Enterprise applications are supported. Due to limitations with the Quickbooks Programming interface our products will not run on any "Simple Start" editions of Quickbooks. Please contact us if your version of Quickbooks is not currently supported.
